AI Security Assurance is seeking a Founding Member: Cybersecurity Research Engineer to lead pioneering research in system security. This remote position focuses on vulnerability research and reverse engineering, where you will analyze real-world systems and connect findings to security designs.

Ideal applicants have skills in low-level programming such as C and assembly, experience with binary analysis tools, and the ability to work independently in an early-stage startup. Compensation starts with equity and transitions to salary upon funding.

Qualifications

• Experience discovering and analyzing weaknesses.
• Familiarity with software/firmware internals.
• Willingness to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the research involved in security tooling.
• Reverse engineer binaries to support analysis.
• Connect findings to design-level security analysis.
