Job summary

Sam's Club is opening a brand-new club in Lathrop, CA, and is seeking Maintenance/Custodian Associates to help shape a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for members from day one.

As a founding team member, you will stay active throughout the day, maintain floors and restrooms, respond to spills, and support overall facility operations while upholding high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness throughout the entire facility, including floors, restrooms, windows, and common areas.
• Perform routine cleaning using approved procedures, chemicals, tools, and equipment.
• Respond to spills and immediate maintenance needs to help ensure safety.
• Dispose of trash, cardboard, and materials according to company sustainability practices.
• Maintain safe working conditions by following all safety standards and procedures.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and materials as needed.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Support overall facility operations to maintain a clean and member-ready environment.
