Job summary

The Tomorrow Companies Inc. seeks a Chief Meteorologist to lead a newly established aviation weather centre in the Caribbean. This founder role reports to the national aviation authority and collaborates with ICAO, airlines, and regulators.

You will hire the forecasting team, set operational standards, and own the delivery of SIGMETs, AIRMETs, SIGWx, TAFs and METARs for round-the-clock operations while shaping forecasting methodologies and quality controls.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of operational meteorology experience, with aviation forecasting focus.
• Proven managerial or team leadership experience.
• Expertise in convective, tropical, and Caribbean weather patterns.
• Strong knowledge of ICAO Annex 3 MET products and WMO standards.
• Experience with 24/7 shift operations in aviation weather.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with regulators and airlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the forecasting team and set operational standards for the centre.
• Recruit and build the meteorology roster and shift structure.
• Oversee 24/7 forecast operations and quality control of outputs.
• Define forecasting methodologies aligned with ICAO Annex 3 and WMO.
• Deliver SIGMETs, AIRMETs, SIGWx, TAFs, METARs for the region.
• Represent the centre to civil aviation authorities and airline stakeholders.
• Design training and requalification programs for the team.
