Job summary

Pairs is hiring a Founding Head of Brand to own how we present ourselves to founders and investors — from positioning and voice to visual identity and the writing and video behind them.

This is our first full-time brand hire. You will set the brand strategy, run it from day one, and build a team as the brand grows, with real creative freedom and direct collaboration with the two co-founders.

Qualifications

• Have built and run a brand end to end that can be reviewed and quantified.
• Still create the work yourself across writing, editing video and directing shoots.
• See more in existing footage by creating new formats from it.

Responsibilities

• Own brand identity: positioning, voice, visual identity across site, social and press.
• Lead editorial and social output: weekly founder/company posts, newsletters, quarterly report.
• Manage video library: repurpose founder/investor interviews into films, series and clips.
• Direct shoots: book, prep, shoot, and edit with your own hands.
• Shape brand perception among founders and investors, driving trust before conversations.
