DEPLOY in Birmingham, AL seeks an AI Product Engineer to own an in-house AI tool for revenue cycle teams. You will write code, decide what to build next, and sit with users to improve the product weekly.

You’ll be the sole engineer on this product, collaborate with leadership, and grow with a HIPAA-compliant Azure setup. This is an in-person, early-career founding engineer role in a healthcare-focused startup.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of software development experience.
• Able to work solo as the sole engineer on the product.
• Experience tinkering with LLMs and agents.
• Ability to explain work to non-technical teammates.
• Client-focused with care for users.

Responsibilities

• Transform beta into a usable product with real interfaces and integrations.
• Own the product end-to-end and measure impact.
• Work within HIPAA-compliant Azure architecture.
• Drive user adoption and collect feedback weekly.
• Collaborate directly with the CEO.
