Job summary

A7 Labs is hiring the first dedicated AI/ML engineer to own the intelligence layer for an AI-powered platform connecting professionals with opportunities. You will design and build production AI capabilities, including matching, semantic search, and content generation, collaborating with the CTO and founding team from day one.

You will deploy and maintain ML models, create NLP pipelines, and establish end-to-end MLOps practices while shaping the AI strategy for a product with millions of users.

Qualifications

• Production ML experience: you've built and deployed models that serve real users, not just notebooks and prototypes.
• NLP/LLM expertise: strong understanding of NLP, transformers, and working with LLMs (fine tuning, prompt engineering, RAG).
• MLOps: experience with model deployment, monitoring, CI/CD for ML, and tools like MLflow, Weights & Biases, or similar.
• Python and data engineering: solid Python skills and data pipelines, feature stores, structured/unstructured data at scale.
• Cloud infrastructure: comfortable with AWS services (SageMaker, Lambda, S3) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI powered features: intelligent job/talent matching, semantic search, recommendation engines, and automated content generation.
• Develop and fine tune models tailored to our domain, including custom LLM applications and NLP pipelines.
• Build and maintain MLOps infrastructure: model training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
• Collaborate with CTO to integrate AI capabilities into the platform architecture cleanly and scalably.
• Evaluate and select tools, frameworks, and third party AI services for each use case.
• Establish best practices for data pipelines, feature engineering, and model versioning.
• Work with product and engineering to translate user needs into AI driven solutions.
