Montash is seeking a Founding MLE to lead and scale its core AI systems in California, Missouri. This is an opportunity to build AI infrastructure ensuring security and compliance. The role involves ownership of AI systems, making architectural decisions, and improving AI reliability.

Ideal candidates have a track record of deploying AI systems successfully and a deep understanding of AI evaluation frameworks. The startup is backed by a Tier 1 VC, offering competitive cash compensation and equity.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping AI systems into real-world production with meaningful user scale.
• Deep understanding of evaluation frameworks, failure modes, and applied AI tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI system end to end.
• Make core architectural decisions for AI systems.
• Define and improve measures of AI correctness, security, and reliability.
