Job summary

Goaly is seeking an engineer to be the first Developer Relations hire, blending hands-on post-training workloads with responsible public-facing content. You will craft benchmarks, reproducible case studies, and open-source tools while building an audience among ML infra engineers and researchers.

This founding role reports to the founders and collaborates with engineering and GTM teams. You will run real workloads, develop benchmarks, and produce technical content across posts, talks, and

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a software or ML engineer with regular coding.
• Hands-on time with LLM post-training infra (SFT, RL, LoRA, or stack beneath).
• Ability to explain hard concepts clearly via blogs/docs/talks.
• A track record of building an audience or reach in ML infra.
• Distribution you can point to: talks, posts, OSS, communities.
• Strong communication in both directions: write and listen well.
• Comfort being the public face of an early-stage product.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain public post-training benchmarks and open-source tools.
• Write quickstarts, references, and integrations for common stacks.
• Create technical content and deep-dive posts for practitioners.
• Own Goaly's technical presence across platforms and communities.
• Engage with design partners, gather feedback, and translate it to docs and tools.
• Foster a community around post-training efficiency, not product marketing.
