Job summary

Intellus Build is hiring a founding AI engineer to turn cutting-edge LLM and vision research into field-ready tools for the construction industry. You’ll work alongside the founder and industry veterans to ship AI that moves dirt and dollars, even with limited wifi on site.

Expect an async-first, remote-friendly environment with zero bureaucracy. You will build systems that make construction sites safer and more productive, using a multi-model stack across LLM APIs, CV, and real-time data

Qualifications

• Recent graduate from top AI program (Stanford AI Lab, MIT CSAIL, or equivalent) or 2–3+ years building production ML systems.
• Strong Python skills and ability to explain complex ML concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with RAG, embeddings and vector databases.

Responsibilities

• Build RAG systems that understand construction terminology.
• Deploy computer vision to detect safety violations from photos.
