Job summary

Sunbound is seeking an ambitious Account Executive to help scale our Revenue Operating System for senior living operators. You will own full-cycle sales from first conversation to signed contract, collaborating with the CRO & CEO to build the sales playbook and territory as we grow.

You’ll hunt multi-site portfolios, manage a robust pipeline, and close multi-stakeholder deals that require due diligence, economics, and compliance considerations.

Why this role exists

Today, sales at Sunbound are largely founder-led. You'll be one of Sunbound’s first Account Executives as we programmatize and scale the Sales function. You will build full-cycle processes alongside our CRO & CEO: from first conversation, to signed contract, to cross-sell and expansion support. You'll help build the sales playbook for the growth and scale that's to come.

What you'll do

• Hunt. Build and run your own pipeline of assisted living and memory care operators; largely multi-site portfolios, where the CEO or CFO signs off and the COO and many other stakeholders are in the room.
• Run the full cycle. Discovery, technical and financial evaluation, negotiation, and close, ensuring a smooth handoff to the account management and customer success team.
• Farm. Most deals start with one product. You'll grow accounts into portfolio-wide rollouts and multi-product relationships.
• Sell something with real teeth. This is a considered, multi-stakeholder sale involving compliance, financial risk, and operational change; not a single-call transaction.
• Run pipeline like it's yours. Real coverage, accurate forecasting, clean CRM hygiene. There's no RevOps team catching what you miss (yet!). That discipline is on you.

Beyond your number

Being early means your fingerprints end up on more than your own pipeline. You'll have real input into the sales playbook, CRM and process decisions, and how we structure comp and territory as the team grows. If you want a seat you inherit, this isn't it. If you want a seat you help build, it is.

What we're looking for

• You've been a top performer, twice. Ranked, not just quota-carrying, in each of your last two full-cycle sales roles, and you have 4+ years of full-cycle experience in total.
• You've genuinely done both halves. You can point to logos you personally sourced and closed, and accounts you grew afterward, without a dedicated SDR or CS team doing the other half for you.
• You've sold something complex. A technical, operational, or financial product that required real discovery and multiple stakeholders to say yes (not a single-decision-maker, single-call sale).
• You want to build, not just execute. You're drawn to the earlier-stage version of this role specifically because the playbook isn't written yet.

Nice to have

• Experience selling fintech or health-tech into senior living, skilled nursing, home health, or another healthcare-adjacent, compliance-heavy vertical.
• Experience navigating procurement, security, or compliance review as part of your sales cycle. We're not screening for company size or brand-name logos on a resume. We're screening for proven, full-cycle performance and the ability to operate without a built-out support system around you.
