Job summary

Career Launch is seeking a Founder Network Advisor focused on developing trusted relationships across founder communities in New York. This is a remote, salaried independent contractor role for an experienced professional who already participates in the startup ecosystem.

The work centers on trusted relationships and qualified introductions. The role does not authorize securities activity, legal or investment advice, or promises about funding or business outcomes, and salary is fixed annually

Qualifications

• Experience building trusted relationships with founders and operators
• Proven ability to navigate the New York startup ecosystem
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior professionals
• Strong judgment on founder fit, timing, consent and confidentiality
• Ability to manage a pipeline of outreach and follow-ups independently

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with founders, operators, investors, accelerators, and startup advisors in New York.
• Identify founders whose companies fit the qualification criteria and goals.
• Hold initial conversations to understand company, stage, goals, and needs.
• Obtain permission before making introductions and sharing contact information.
• Provide concise, accurate context for internal teams to prepare for founder conversations.
• Maintain timely records of outreach, introductions, status, and follow-ups.
• Represent Career Launch accurately without promising funding, customers, or business results.
