Job summary

The Basement Doctor Columbus is hiring a Construction Laborer for our Parkersburg, WV location. You will assist in fabricating and installing foundation repair and waterproofing systems, with training provided.

No prior experience is required; we teach you everything. You will work outdoors in varying weather, lifting heavy objects, and following safety protocols to help keep homes dry, safe, and energy-efficient.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist in loading/unloading trucks.
• Handle and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely.
• Maintain an organized inventory of materials and tools on-site.
• Other duties as assigned
• Prepare work sites by clearing debris and ensuring a safe working environment.
• Excavate areas for installation, ensuring accurate measurements and levels.
• Prepare outside system to include trench, backfill, mulch, and clean-up of area.
• Prepare for installation of the inside system to include covering customer property.
• Jackhammers out the existing concrete floor and removal of concrete floor break-out.
