Job summary

ENFRA LLC in Baton Rouge is seeking a Laborer to support installations, alterations, and repairs of foundations, underground raceways, and related structures. The role includes on-the-job training through an Electrical Apprenticeship Program and requires teamwork, safety compliance, and basic math for materials and layouts.

Candidates will work 10-hour days, potentially night shifts, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must work smoothly with others as a member of a team to complete tasks.
• Ability to work 10 hours per day, night shift, 40 hours per week and overtime as required with little or on short notice.
• Clearly understand and comply with Company / Job Safety Requirements (OSHA).
• Ability to add, subtract, divide and use formulas accurately.
• Work in restrictive / tight areas. (i.e. switchgear rooms, crawl spaces, utility tunnels, etc.)
• Must be capable of digging trenches, either by use of hand tools or equipment.
• Accurately read labels, job site maps / direction and manuals and written instructions.
• Ability to visualize completed work prior to installation.
• Must have ability and knowledge to properly give hand signals to operators.
• Knowledge and understanding of OSHA requirements.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent multitasking skills, with the ability to perform duties outside of scope of work when necessary.
