Job summary

Omni Inventive Care in Omaha seeks a Foster Care Specialist to supervise, support and guide foster parents caring for children with emotional and behavioral challenges.

You will meet weekly with foster families, develop treatment plans, write social histories, and attend care management meetings and court hearings as required. This role requires compassion, strong communication, and the ability to work with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field required.
• 6 points or less on driving record.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background checks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, support and guide foster parents who have children in placement with emotional/behavioral problems.
• Meet weekly with foster parents and develop treatment plans.
• Write social histories for placement cases.
• Attend care management meetings and court hearings as required.
