Job summary

The Center for Youth and Family Solutions (CYFS) seeks compassionate individuals to serve as Foster Care Family Support Workers in Illinois. You will provide transportation for visits, supervise meetings, advocate for children and families, and liaise with caseworkers to ensure accurate documentation and service delivery.

Schedule is flexible, with non-traditional hours based on youth needs; prior child welfare exposure is preferred, and candidates must have an insured vehicle and a clean

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Foster care or child welfare experience is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation for foster children and family visits to meet goals.
• Supervise visits between children and natural parents and prepare notes.
• Provide advocacy and mentoring services for children and families.
• Liaise between the caseworker and foster families and/or biological parents.
• Complete necessary paperwork to document services provided.
