Northern Rivers Family of Services is seeking a Program Coordinator to oversee the administrative and programmatic aspects of a Foster Care team, including supervision of staff and foster families. The role involves maintaining agency resources and reporting to the Director of Foster Care, with on-site work in the designated counties.

The position requires a master's degree in a relevant field and several years of supervisory and case management experience.

Qualifications

• Requires a Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• 3–4 years of case management experience.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and maintaining records to standards.

Responsabilités

• Supervise multistage foster care treatment team in intake and ongoing treatment planning for foster youth and families.
• Ensure efforts to reach permanency for children in placement.
• Coordinate work of permanency care managers, clinical and nursing departments to support safety and wellbeing.
• Provide regular supervision and performance evaluations of program staff.
• Collaborate with Local Department of Social Services to fulfill contracted services.
• Develop relationships with outside agencies for resources to the program.
• Ensure case records meet NY OCFS regulations, COA standards and agency standards.
• Assist in assessing prospective foster parents and their strengths/needs.
• Coordinate with Northern Rivers departments including finance and HR.
• Participate in departmental meetings and on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.

As a Program Coordinator, you will oversee the administrative and programmatic oversight of a Foster Care team. You will oversee staff, the foster families associated with the office and maintain agency resource relationships within the counties the foster care program supports.
