Job summary

Epworth Children's Home seeks a clinician to oversee the Therapeutic Foster Care Program's clinical aspects. You will ensure services meet contracts, laws, and internal policies while aligning with the mission to provide a safe, nurturing living experience for clients.

Role requires understanding of child, adolescent, and family treatment; ability to deliver evidence-based practice with fidelity; and readiness to pass standard background checks. MSW/LISW-CP/LPC/LMFT preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or license-eligible field (required); Master's preferred.
• Understanding of children, adolescents and family treatment; ability to deliver evidence-based practice with fidelity.
• Excellent written and oral communication; ability to read and interpret professional materials and regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedures; present information to groups.
• LMSW, LPC, LISW-CP, or LMFT preferred.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions; handle abstract and concrete variables.
• Must pass background checks including drug screen, DSS registry, SLED, and Sex Offenders Registry.
• Belief system compatible with United Methodist Church values.

Facilitates therapeutic services in accordance with Epworth Children's Home's mission and values the provision of a safe, secure and nurturing living experience for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or another license-eligible field required. Master's degree in social work or another license-eligible field preferred.
• Must have an understanding of children, adolescent and family treatment as well as the ability to deliver evidence-based practice with fidelity.
• Good written and oral communication skills required. Must be able to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals, ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and the general public.
• LMSW, LPC, LISW-CP, or LMFT preferred.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions. Ability to deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Must be able to pass standard background checking, including drug screen, employment physical, SLED, DSS Central Registry, and Sex Offenders Registry.
• Has a belief system and engages win faith practices that are compatible with those of the United Methodist Church.
