Job summary

Lutheran Family and Children's Services of Missouri is seeking dedicated professionals to provide and maintain child welfare services, counseling, and case management for individuals, families, and groups, including birth, foster, and adoptive families, within agency policy.

Ideal candidates will build strong relationships with clients, meet goals through regular contact (in person or virtual), and keep accurate client files with timely progress notes and reports in our systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or other Human Behavior Science.
• Must be a licensed driver with access to a reliable automobile for in-home and community visits.
• Passion for making a difference and supporting families through life’s challenges.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

• Provide and maintain child welfare services, counseling and case management to individuals, families and groups that include birth, foster and adoptive families, within agency policy.


• Build a positive working relationship with clients to meet their goals through regular, consistent, face-to-face or virtual client contact.


• Maintain complete client files, ensure client records are up to date by inputting all necessary progress notes, data, and reports into the required data base in a timely manner on a regular basis.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or other Human Behavior Science degree.


• Must be a licensed driver with access to a reliable automobile to meet client direct service expectations in their homes and community, who is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements.
