Job summary

Ennis Center for Children is seeking a Foster Care Case Manager to provide professional case management for assigned caseloads, helping children and families reach permanency goals. The role involves coordinating services, preparing treatment plans, and partnering with foster families across multiple counties.

The position requires a Bachelor's in social work or related field, strong communication and organizational skills, reliable transportation, and compliance with agency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for children and families with the goal of permanency (reunification, adoption, guardianship, permanent placement with a relative) by maintaining cases across multiple counties
• Ensure accurate, professional, timely completion of reports, logs, notes and other paperwork including service contracts and treatment plans
• Coordinate or provide timely services and casework to all assigned Agency users, families, and foster families per procedures and contract terms
• Monitor and provide necessary services, coordinate treatment with local/state/federal agencies and resources
• Assist with Foster Care responsibilities across agency offices and carry caseloads as needed
• Attend, conduct, or participate in case conferences, hearings, home visits, etc., as required
• Provide 24-hour crisis on-call availability to clients and families on rotation
• Provide case management from initial placements through intake and maintain a flexible schedule
• Perform other Agency-related duties as assigned

Position: Foster Care Case Manager

Status: Salaried/Exempt

Salary Range $44,200* - $55,000 annually

• $1,500 Sign-On Bonus - Paid with your first paycheck to eligible candidates who possess a current, valid, non-expired CWTI (PSI) certification at the time of hire.**

This is a professional position that provides case management of assigned caseload working with assigned Agency consumers, their families, and the foster families. This position also provides instructive counseling activities, assisting with treatment goals, and placement planning and care in compliance with the requirements of applicable local, state, and federal regulatory and/or other accrediting agencies.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibility is to advocate for children and families with the goal of permanency (reunification, adoption, guardianship, permanent placement with a fit and willing relative, Another Planned Permanent Living Arrangement) by maintaining cases in various counties within the Ennis Center service area.

• Ensures accurate, professional, and timely completion of all required reports, logs, notes, and other paperwork as required, including service contracts and treatment plans.
• Coordinates or provides timely services and casework needs to all assigned Agency consumers, families, and foster families as required by Program-specific procedures, applicable contract terms, and/or applicable local, state, and federal regulatory and/or other accrediting agencies.
• Monitors and provides necessary services to Agency consumers, families, and foster families. Coordinates treatment services with appropriate local, state, or federal agencies and/or community resources.
• Assisting with Foster Care responsibilities across all agency offices as needed. This includes carrying caseloads outside the employee's designated home office.
• Attends, conducts, or participates in all case conferences, hearings, assessments, home visits, etc. as required.
• Provides 24-hour crisis on call availability to clients and families on a rotating basis.
• Provide case management of initial placements through the intake process.
• Maintain a flexible work schedule.
• Provides other Agency-related duties as assigned.
