Samaritas in the Detroit area is seeking a Foster Care Case Aide to provide hands-on support for children in the Michigan foster care system. This full-time role offers meaningful daily work with families, supervised visits, transportation support, and collaboration with social workers to promote safety and stability.

You will bring at least 1 year in child welfare and an associate degree in human services, plus a valid driver's license and ability to travel locally.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll work closely with social workers, foster families, and birth families~ providing direct support, ensuring safe and meaningful interactions, and helping children access essential services. Your presence and care will help create stability, safety, and connection for the children we serve.
