Warp Speed builds on years of excellence in manufacturing to resurrect & revitalize the American Industrial Base. FDSEs on Warp Speed work directly with customers from the factory floor to the boardroom to understand their greatest problems and design and implement solutions using data.

Forward Deployed Software Engineer (FDSE)

Forward Deployed Software Engineers (FDSEs) work directly with customers from the factory floor to the boardroom to understand their greatest problems and design and implement solutions using data. They apply problem‑solving ability, creativity, and technical skills to help organizations use their data to drive real impact.

Core Responsibilities

• Collaborate with fellow engineers on architecture and design decisions.
• Wrangle massive‑scale data and use AI to accelerate and enhance critical operations.
• Develop custom applications tailored to customer needs.
• Engage directly with customer stakeholders, from technical teams to executives.
• Shape team strategy and drive projects from ideation to deployment, delivering real value.

What We Require

• U.S. Person Required.
• 1+ years of relevant post‑college work experience.

• Strong coding proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar.
• Ability and interest to travel up to 25% to client sites, as needed.

Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is $135,000 – $200,000 per year with potential additional compensation such as restricted stock units, sign‑on bonus, and other incentives. Total compensation will be determined by individual qualifications, experience, and skills.
