Job summary

PensarAI is seeking a Security Research Engineer to operate as a Hybrid Forward Deployed Engineer and offensive security researcher. You will run pentests with Apex, present findings to customers, and stand up our platform inside client environments.

You will also drive original offensive security and open source research, contribute to the product, and shape the Open Source/Cloud security roadmap while engaging with customers from kickoff to delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of offensive security, pentesting, red teaming, or vulnerability research.

Responsibilities

• Run end-to-end pentest engagements for customers using Apex and configure the Pensar platform in customer environments.
• Curate, triage, and contextualize findings for a range of audiences from engineers to executives.
• Develop new exploitation techniques, payloads, and tooling to extend Apex's capabilities.
• Lead vulnerability research across open source projects and coordinate responsible disclosure.
