Phylo, Inc. in South San Francisco is hiring a Forward Deployed Scientist to partner with enterprise biotech customers and advance our agentic biomedical AI platform.

You will work closely with clients to scope high-stakes projects, deliver field-ready solutions, and ensure scientific rigor from hypothesis to production. Lead efforts to construct bio environments, curate data integrations, and evaluate agent performance across biomedical domains.

Qualifications

• PhD or MD/PhD with strong biomedical toolset and workflows.
• Industry experience in biotech or pharma with computational biology.
• Ability to translate scientific needs into technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with enterprise customers to understand scientific workflows.
• Construct bio environments for agents by building and curating tools and data integrations.
• Evaluate agent performance using benchmarks and scientific review.
• Validate scientific accuracy of outputs and drive product improvements.
• Deliver in the field: run trainings, scope problems, and own delivery end-to-end.
• Serve as the scientific voice in engagements and feedback loops.
