Job summary

DOSS is seeking a Forward Deployed Product Manager to join the Forward Deployed Services team, intersecting product, data, operations, implementation and customer partnership. You will own the entire post-sales ERP lifecycle from discovery to go-live for enterprise clients.

You will work across discovery, design, build/configuration, and UAT, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver value and drive customer success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in engineering, consulting, finance, operations, product operations or technical program management at a tech company; ERP experience is a plus.
• Systems thinking required to navigate interconnected people, process, and tech.
• High-intensity experience in startups, consulting, or finance in demanding roles.
• Technical problem-solving from first principles, not memorization.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to synthesize complex information.
• SQL experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end post-sales lifecycle across discovery, design, product implementation and go-live for larger clients.
• Map end-to-end business processes and workflows through cross-functional dives.
• Build new product capabilities within the DOSS ERP platform.
• Contribute to best practices and process improvements across the team.
• Translate process flows into product design and configuration within the DOSS platform.
• Collaborate with technical teams on integrations and data migrations for implementations.
• Support UAT, training, go-live, and foster client relationships to drive retention and upsell.
• Drive AI and automation initiatives to improve product and lifecycle processes.

About the Role

DOSS's Forward Deployed Services team is the core engine of DOSS and the success of our customers. This unique role sits at the intersection of product, data, operations, implementation and customer partnership. The team is responsible for the entire post-sales product operations and implementation lifecycle:

• Discovery: partnering with cross functional client leadership to analyze their operational and financial workflows (flow of goods, information and money) and requirements

• Product Design: Data model, workflows and integrations

• Build/Configure on DOSS/ERP platform

• UAT and Go-live

The Forward Deployed Product Manager will support our push to upper mid-market and enterprise clients, and will have multiple responsibilities:

• Support e2e ERP lifecycle process and success for 1-2 of our bigger clients

• Build new product capabilities/solutions within the DOSS ERP platform

• Contribute to best practices and process improvements across the team

Hands-on ERP implementation experience is required. Our current team comes from a mix of business and technical backgrounds. What we value the most are:

What You'll Do

• Support e2e post sales customer lifecycle from discovery, design, product implementation and go-live across our bigger clients - you are responsible for ensuring client achieves success and value from DOSS

• Conduct cross functional deep dives across customer organization to map end-to-end business processes and workflows

• Build new product capabilities that help support DOSS's push to upper mid market and ENT clients

• Contribute to best in class practices and processes across the entire team

• Translate process flows into product design and configuration within the DOSS platform

• Collaborate with technical teams on integrations and data migrations required for successful implementations

• Support UAT, training, and go-live support, and build relationships with clients to drive retention and potentially upsell, turn our customers to our biggest advocates!!

• Contribute to initiatives to drive improvements in DOSS product and customer lifecycle processes via automation and AI - we are an AI native company and team

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years in engineering (industrial, process, computer etc.), consulting, finance, operations, product operations or technical program management at a technology company - ERP experience not required (though if you have experience in that its a plus)

• Systems Thinker. Everything in our business is highly interconnected across people, process, and technology. In order to make progress you need to be able to traverse it, untangle it, and put it back together.

• High-Intensity. You have experience in high-pressure roles within startups, consulting, finance etc. - these are your real preferences, not your stated preferences.

• Technical from 1st Principles. You can grok hard engineering and logic problems from a place of intuition, not memorization.

• Intellectual Firepower. You cut through noise, synthesize, and get to the right answers fast.

• Strong analytical mindset; experience with SQL is a plus (but not required)
