Job summary

Conagra Brands is seeking a Data Engineer who will embed with cross-functional teams to design and deliver data products in Palantir Foundry. You will translate business needs into scalable data solutions and partner with stakeholders to deploy pipelines and workflows.

You will work directly with business stakeholders to surface problems, develop data pipelines, and ensure data quality through monitoring and lineage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation and pipeline development
• Hands-on experience with PySpark in a production environment
• Experience with Palantir Foundry, including ontology design, workflows, or Workshop applications, or a track record of learning complex platforms quickly
• Understanding of data modeling concepts and how upstream decisions impact downstream consumers
• Strong communication skills with experience presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience working with cross-functional business teams to define problems and deliver solutions
• Knowledge of complex industries such as consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, retail, or similar environments

Responsibilities

• Work directly alongside business stakeholders to surface problems, define requirements, and design solutions without relying on a formal intake process
• Develop, test, and maintain data pipelines and transformations in Palantir Foundry using Python and PySpark
• Design and maintain Ontology Objects, Links, Actions, and Interfaces that reflect real business entities and relationships
• Build Workshop applications, operational data products, and workflows that drive business decisions
• Implement automated data validation, monitoring, and lineage to ensure data quality and trust
• Partner with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to increase overall team effectiveness and output
• Translate between business and technical stakeholders to align on priorities and deliver clear solutions
• Apply systems thinking to data architecture, ensuring scalability and alignment with downstream use
