Job summary

Palantir Technologies is seeking a Forward Deployed Infrastructure Engineer (FDIE) intern to join a dynamic team. You will deploy and operate Palantir software across production environments, automate runbooks, and design scalable infrastructure solutions with mentorship from experienced engineers.

You’ll work on real production projects, debug distributed systems, and contribute to security-sensitive infrastructure tasks using Foundry and Apollo.

Qualifications

• Engineering background with CS/Math/Software Eng/Physics/Data Science preferred.
• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python/Java/Go/C++/TypeScript).
• Experience with distributed systems or infrastructure is a plus.
• Security clearance eligibility or it’s a must to obtain US clearance prior to internship.

Responsibilities

• Build, operate, and maintain infrastructure for Palantir platforms.
• Collaborate in small teams with mentorship from full-time FDIEs.
• Deploy and operate Palantir software across production environments.
• Automate manual processes and develop scalable infrastructure solutions.
