Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer for the Identity Platform who will lead technical design, review implementations, and set direction for engagements at client sites in the United States. You will work with senior engineers and client stakeholders to ensure secure, scalable identity solutions and practical build-vs-buy decisions, sometimes hands-on, sometimes in design reviews.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience building and shipping production software.
• Minimum of 4 years engineering leadership and design review experience.
• Experience deploying and operating cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Ability to explain hard technical ideas to a CISO in a design review.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical design for engagements and defend decisions.
• Review implementations and prototype to settle questions quickly.
• Set technical direction and mentor engineers on the engagement.
• Reverse‑engineer identity workflows in client environments to inform design.
• Document build-vs-buy rationales so they survive the project lifecycle.
• Prototype against emerging standards and vendor betas.
