Job summary

Workman Labs in San Francisco is seeking an Embedded builder to bridge frontier AI products with customer solutions; engineers code, debug, and deploy agentic systems directly within customer environments.

You will transform prototypes into production pipelines on cloud platforms, design observability, and collaborate with customer teams to embed best practices across deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development using Python or similar coding languages.
• Experience architecting AI systems on cloud platforms (e.g., GCP).
• Experience taking production-grade AI-driven solutions from conception to launch.
• Experience leading technical discovery sessions with customers.
• Experience building pipelines for structured and unstructured data using vector databases and retrieval-augmented generation.
• Preferred: Master's or PhD in AI, CS, or related field.
• Preferred: multi-agent system implementation experience using LangGraph or CrewAI.
• Preferred: knowledge of LLM-native metrics and optimization techniques.
