Job description

Own end-to-end model deployments inside healthcare organizations — discovery, architecture, implementation, evaluation — translating clinical/payer workflows into technical requirements and measurable outcomes. Designs AI applications integrated with EHR systems and claims platforms; builds evaluations, validation evidence, and human-review workflows for production readiness. Wants 6+ years in software/ML engineering, hands-on ownership of complex customer-facing systems, healthcare domain knowledge (Epic, HL7, FHIR, payer workflows), and prior FDE/healthcare-technologist/solutions-architect experience.

Second new OpenAI vertical FDE req this month: healthcare, requiring real Epic/HL7/FHIR fluency, not just LLM chops - a tell that the FDE motion is now being staffed by domain experts first, engineers second. Same $185K-300K band as the Legal seat, but with 6+ years required (vs. 5+) and 50% travel.
