Job summary

Rebel Talent Systems in Washington, DC is seeking a seasoned solutions engineer to build and deploy agentic AI systems for federal missions. You will work forward-deployed with government partners, taking systems from prototype to production and owning end-to-end delivery.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years on federal projects, US citizenship, and a strong Python background, with experience in LLMs, data pipelines, and secure, high-reliability environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop agentic AI systems for government missions from prototype to production.
• Build LLM applications: multi-agent systems, tool-using agents, RAG workflows.
• Collaborate with government partners to translate mission needs into technical systems.
• Create data curation and evaluation pipelines for model training and improvement.
• Provide infrastructure for inference, experimentation, and deployment across frontier AI platforms.

Build and deploy agentic AI systems that support high-impact U.S. Government missions, working forward-deployed with government partners to take systems from prototype to production.

Requirements

• 3+ years on federal projects as a solutions engineer, solutions architect, forward deployed engineer, sales engineer, or mission specialist
• Must be in the DC area
• Must be a US Citizen. Active Secret clearance or above preferred (we have the option to sponsor a clearance for the right candidate)
• Strong Python engineer with end-to-end ownership experience
• Experience with LLMs and building agentic systems
• Built or maintained data pipelines / ML infrastructure
• Familiar with RL workflows or simulation environments
• Comfortable in high-security / high-reliability environments
• Able to operate independently in ambiguous, partner-facing settings

Ideal Candidate
