Relm Insurance Ltd. is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to build, deploy and scale AI-powered solutions across our business.

This role sits at the intersection of technology, operations and business, collaborating with Underwriting, Claims, Product and Operations to turn real problems into practical AI outcomes. You’ll own projects from discovery through production, shipping reliable AI solutions, and continuously improving outputs with a hands-on, problem‑solving mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience building and deploying AI-powered workflows, agents or automation solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with modern AI tools and large language models.
• Confidence working with APIs, JSON, webhooks, integrations, logs and technical troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to understand why something isn’t behaving as expected.
• Experience testing AI outputs for accuracy, reliability and consistency.
• Ability to translate business problems into practical AI solutions.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Curious, experimental mindset with a genuine interest in building with AI.
• Ability to work independently and own projects from discovery to production.

We’re looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to help us build, deploy and scale AI-powered solutions across Relm.

This is a hands‑on role sitting between technology, operations and the business. You’ll work directly with teams across Underwriting, Claims, Product and Operations to identify real problems, turn them into practical AI solutions and take those solutions from idea through to production.

We’re not looking for someone who just wants to build demos. We want someone who likes shipping, testing, improving and owning what they build.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Build, test and deploy AI agents, automations and workflows across the business.

• Translate business problems into practical technical solutions using AI tools, APIs and integrations.

• Own solutions once they go live, monitoring performance, debugging issues and improving outputs.

• Work directly with teams to understand where AI can remove friction and improve how work gets done.

• Design testing and evaluation processes to ensure AI outputs are accurate, reliable and safe.

• Build appropriate human‑in‑the‑loop controls for higher‑risk workflows.

• Help develop reusable AI workflows and components that can scale across Relm.

• Stay close to new models, agent frameworks and AI tooling, testing what could add real value.

• Feed production learnings into Relm’s wider AI roadmap.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
