Job summary

FreshTech in New York City is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to translate high-impact AI opportunities into production-ready solutions. You will partner with business teams to identify workflows, design end-to-end AI applications, and deploy them across the organization.

You'll work directly with operations, finance, legal and executive teams, balancing speed with governance. This is an on-site role with visibility across the business and opportunities to shape AI strategy.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building and shipping software or AI products.
• Strong Python engineering skills.
• Knowledge of TypeScript and frontend development.
• Experience with modern AI/LLM tooling and agents.
• Ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience with AI agents, tool orchestration or production-grade security advantageous.

Forward Deployed AI Engineer | New York City | On-site

A leading investment and financial services organisation is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to identify high-impact opportunities for AI and turn them into practical, production-ready solutions.

This is a highly visible role working directly with teams across the business, including operations, finance, legal, executive support, and investment functions.

The opportunity

You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to understand how work gets done, identify opportunities where AI can deliver meaningful efficiency gains, and then build solutions from idea through deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Experience with AI agents, tool orchestration, evaluation frameworks, financial services, or production-grade security and reliability would be advantageous

Location: New York City

Working arrangement: Fully office-based ( remote all of August)
