Job summary

Wintermeyer Ventures in New York is seeking a hands-on software engineer to build production AI workflows for enterprise clients, from architecture through deployment. You will own features end-to-end and partner with client teams.

This role requires 3–8 years of full-stack experience, cloud proficiency (AWS, GCP, or Azure), strong communication with executives, and a proactive, fast-paced startup mindset. On-site in New York five days a week.

About the Role

Join a fast-growing AI and software services team building production AI systems for enterprise clients. You will work directly with client teams to turn complex operational challenges into reliable software.

What You'll Do

• Build and deploy AI workflows and agentic systems for enterprise clients, from architecture through production.
• Ramp up quickly in unfamiliar codebases and deliver production software with high ownership.
• Partner with executive and engineering stakeholders across industries, including finance, entertainment, and consumer goods.
• Use modern AI coding tools to accelerate development and deliver maintainable systems.
• Collaborate with strategy partners to scope projects and build systems that operate reliably in production.

What We're Looking For

• Three to eight years of full-stack software engineering experience, with a track record of personally shipping substantial production systems.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying end-to-end product features, rather than a data-only or solutions engineering background.
• Production experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, including working through cloud infrastructure complexity.
• Strong client-facing communication skills and experience partnering with enterprise engineering teams and executives.
• High ownership, adaptability, and comfort working at a fast pace; startup experience is valued.
• Experience with Python and TypeScript is relevant. Familiarity with agentic AI systems or tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary is $180,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

On-site in New York, New York, United States. This role works in person five days per week.
