Job summary

Galent is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to work closely with customers to build, deploy, and support software and AI-powered solutions. You will leverage strong Python development skills, REST API design, and cloud experience to deliver end-to-end projects.

You'll work with AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling to implement scalable deployments and iterate with AI tools such as Copilot or Azure OpenAI. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Python and OOP
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs with modern frameworks
• Good understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized apps
• Familiarity with Kubernetes or container orchestration tools
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related tools
• Exposure to generative AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Azure OpenAI)

Key Skills

• Strong experience in Python development and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or Django
• Good understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized applications
• Familiarity with Kubernetes or container orchestration tools
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools
• Exposure to LLM/Generative AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or Azure OpenAI
