Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and operate custom web applications across AWS, Azure, and On-Prem environments. You will configure and optimize APIs and datasets, and help deploy cloud infrastructure using Terraform and AWS CDK.

The role emphasizes collaboration with clients, internal teams, and senior engineers, with travel varying from 0 to 100% depending on client needs. A strong Linux and DevOps background is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of full-stack engineering with at least four of the following: Linux, Python, Docker/Kubernetes, or a modern JavaScript framework, DevOps.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a platform engineering or developer role.
• Minimum of 3 months of experience with IaC tools, e.g. Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, deployment, and operational management of custom web applications across AWS, Azure, and On-Prem environments.
• Configure, manage, and optimize custom APIs and datasets; contribute to cloud infrastructure deployment and maintenance using Terraform and AWS CDK.
• Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues, optimize system performance, and provide guidance to clients and teams.
