Job summary

Vibehackers is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to lead end-to-end deployments of OpenAI models in financial services. Based in NYC with a hybrid model, you will deliver production-grade AI systems emphasizing correctness, latency, and regulatory compliance.

You will partner with customers across investment banking, trading, risk, compliance, underwriting, research, and operations to translate complex workflows into reliable, auditable production systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software/ML deployment experience in regulated or financial settings.
• Experience deploying systems powered by LLMs or generative models.
• Strong communication across engineering, product, risk, compliance, and execs.
• Familiarity with financial workflows and regulatory controls.
• Ability to operate under high-stakes, ambiguous conditions.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship production AI systems with integrations and observability.
• Lead discovery from pre-sales through post-production, define requirements.
• Define launch criteria for regulated environments with audit artifacts.
• Build systems with strong access controls, data lineage, and explainability.
• Run evaluation loops measuring model quality against financial benchmarks.
• Manage delivery across multiple workstreams to protect production outcomes.
• Create reference architectures, playbooks, tooling, and reusable primitives.
• Surface field feedback to inform model behavior and platform gaps.
