Met-Con Companies, Inc. is seeking a skilled Formwork/Concrete Form Carpenter to assemble and strip form systems, place rebar, and support concrete operations on active job sites.

You will layout foundations, install form ties, walers, bracing, and embeds, keep a safe work area, and help crane/forklift movement of components. Must have 3+ years of related experience and be 18+ years old. Hours are 7:00am-3:30pm; pay starts at $27+ per hour, depending on experience.

Competenze

• 3+ years experience in related field (preferred)
• 18+ years of age

Mansioni

• Assemble, set and align wall form systems
• Install form ties, walers, braces, strongbacks, and working platforms/scaffolding
• Assist with placement of reinforcing steel (rebar), chairs, wire, dowels, and mats; tie rebar per plan and direction
• Set and secure embeds and inserts such as anchor bolts, plates, sleeves, blockouts, waterstops, and keyways
• Support concrete placement operations
• Strip forms safely, clean and inspect panels and hardware, and prepare for reuse
• Assist with crane/forklift staging and movement of form components and materials to reduce hazards
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the foreman/superintendent to support schedule and quality goals
• Follow all safety procedures
