Prestige Talent is seeking a Formwork Specialist in Washington, USA. This role involves constructing and assembling temporary formwork to support concrete during construction, requiring careful measuring, cutting, and precise assembly.

You will read blueprints, cut to specifications, and assemble formwork using hand and power tools, while working in varying weather conditions. This is a contract position with visa sponsorship available and is located on site in Washington.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Formworker or similar role.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand measurements.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools.
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials.
• Attention to detail and precision in measuring and cutting materials.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to determine formwork specifications.
• Measure and cut materials according to specifications.
• Assemble formwork using various hand and power tools.
• Install braces, ties, and other supports to ensure stability of formwork.
• Pour, spread, and vibrate concrete into forms.
• Remove forms after concrete has set.
• Inspect and repair damaged forms as needed.
