Central Garden & Pet is hiring a Mixer/Formulator/Compounder for the night shift at our Dallas, TX facility. The role involves preparing liquid and dry mixes, verifying materials, and maintaining safe production processes in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 50 pounds, perform equipment cleanouts and changeovers, and read, write, and converse in English. The position offers a night shift with 10-hour days and overtime as needed.

We are currently hiring for the following position:

Position: Mixer/Formulator/Compounder - Night Shift

Location: 12111 Ford Road, Dallas, TX 75234

Pay: $19-$25an hour, depending on experience , with a 5% shift differential for all hours worked on Night S hift

Shift: Monday-Thursday, 4:30pm to 3:00am - 10 hour/day, OT.

Mixer/Formulator: The ideal candidate will be able to mix liquid and/or dry mixes for proper and efficient operation resulting in a high-quality product. You will verify all materials in the production area are correct. You will need to clean out and change over your equipment. You must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally, stoop, squat, bend, overhead lifting, standing and walking and work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. You must also have a practical working knowledge of basic arithmetic functions and be able to read, write, understand and converse in English. Work is performed in a manufacturing facility and the Compounder Formulator will handle raw materials that require varying degrees of protection including respirator, gloves, coveralls, and safety glasses/goggles.
