Job summary

Nutrien is seeking a production operator in our Nebraska facility to formulate and blend batches using computerized controls and manual methods. You will follow tickets, maintain clean work areas, and ensure safety and labeling compliance throughout the shift.

The role requires reading and understanding English, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to lift heavy loads and operate in a fast-paced plant environment. Training on safety procedures and equipment will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to wear a respirator.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Able to read/write English.
• Able to lift 50 lbs frequently.
• Able to handle 500 lbs drums occasionally.
• Able to work with computerized control screens.
• Able to multitask across multiple vessels.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and blend batches using computerized HMI/PLC system as well as manual blends.
• Follow production tickets to mix and react raw materials resulting in finished products.
• Comply with plant policies and safety procedures.
• Assist in formulation of each batch of product.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Ensure there are no unlabeled containers in work area of any type.
• Cleaning.
• Assist all plant personnel in seeking ways to eliminate waste and inefficiency throughout plant.
• Assist formulator in monitoring inventory.
• Other duties as required
