Job summary

Eurofins in Groton, CT is seeking a formulation scientist to advance drug product development. The role covers oral, topical, and IV dosage forms for feasibility studies, with emphasis on pre‑formulation and material characterization.

You will work across in‑vitro/in‑vivo models and support protocol creation for clinical study sites. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience in amorphous dispersions, dissolution testing, and advanced analytical techniques, and can operate independently within

Qualifications

• Experience with drug formulation and pre-formulation techniques.
• Understanding of drug candidate properties.
• Experience with amorphous solid dispersions.
• Experience with spray dried dispersions or hot melt extrusion.
• Experience with dissolution testing and Raman/thermal analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prototype formulations for exploratory studies in in‑vitro and in‑vivo models.
• Develop oral, topical and intravenous dosage forms for feasibility studies.
• Measure properties such as solubility, tablet hardness, disintegration, pH.
• Assess stability and performance of prototype formulations.
• Develop protocols for preparation of formulations at clinical study sites.
