Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Formulation Scientist to join its Research and Development team for a cosmetic-focused portfolio. The role involves batching, stability testing, and documenting results in electronic systems, with hands-on formulation and testing in the lab.

Onsite Monday through Thursday and remote Fridays, the position offers holiday pay and PTO. The ideal candidate has lab experience in personal care or cosmetics and a degree in a scientific field, ready to contribute to ongoing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field.
• Co-Op or internship experience required.
• Experience in personal care or cosmetics lab environment.
• Experience in a regulated laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

• Batch, stability test, and document results.
• Support ongoing compliance initiative and electronic systems.
• Conduct formulation and testing activities in the lab.
• Collaborate with R&D on product types (wash, lotion, shampoo, oils, cream, powders).

Job description

Insight Global is looking for a Formulation Scientist to join the team Research and Development organization with one of our largest consumer healthcare companies. This individual will be responsible for batching, stability testing, and compliance documentation within electronic systems. They will be supporting an ongoing compliance initiative and will be focusing on laboratory activities including formulation and testing. The ideal candidate will have industry experience within the personal care or cosmetics industry in a laboratory environment.

Monday-Thursdays onsite, Fridays are REMOTE.

Paid Holidays and PTO included.

They will be utilizing equipment such as homogenizers, mixers, and scales.

Product Types: Washes, Lotions, Shampoos, Oils, Creams, and Powders.

Must-haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Scientific Field
• Co-Op or Internship level of experience at a minimum
• Experience within personal care or cosmetics industry
• Industry experience working within a laboratory environment
