Job summary

PaperTech in Findlay, OH is seeking a Forming Machine Operator (1st shift) to operate automated forming machines producing pressed paperboard trays. You will measure parts, inspect equipment, maintain a clean, safe area, and enter production data on a PC; overtime may be required.

Shift: M-F 8:00 am - 4:00 pm with a $1.00/hr differential for 3rd shift. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Forming Machine Operator

Former Operators operate automated forming machines to produce pressed paperboard trays. Duties include:

• Operate forming machines per prints and specifications.
• Produce the required quantity within established specifications and tolerances.
• Measure finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
• Inspect equipment before use to ensure proper setup and alignment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Working on a PC to enter production information.
• Be capable of acting as a floater as needed by supervision.
  • Remove completed pallets from the end of multiple production lines via pallet jack.
  • Re-stock Corrugated, Pallets, Bags, and any other necessary supplies at multiple production lines.
  • Refill cleaning bottles and sanitary supplies at multiple production lines as needed.
  • Communicate with Utility regarding any items needed to stock production lines.
  • Help with loading machines as spare time allows.
  • Help make boxes for lines that the supervisor recommends.
• Must have a positive attitude and consistently embody PaperTech's company culture and values.
• Must demonstrate a strong attendance and reliability record and consistently report to work as scheduled.
