Thimble Alterations is seeking independent alteration professionals specializing in formalwear and tailoring. In this role, you'll alter suits, tuxedos, and formal dresses, conducting fittings and maintaining high-quality finishing.

As an independent contractor, you’ll receive local client requests and enjoy the flexibility to accept jobs that suit your schedule while growing your client base through positive reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience with formalwear alterations and/or tailoring.
• Strong garment construction knowledge and precision measuring required.
• Proficiency in machine and hand sewing is a must.

Responsibilities

• Alter suits, tuxedos, dress pants, and formal jackets.
• Work with women's formalwear including gowns and cocktail dresses.
• Conduct fittings and take precise measurements.
