Job summary

Arrowhead Products Corporation seeks a dedicated Deburr and Press Operator to support fabrication in our forming operations. You will remove burrs from metal parts, operate punch and draw presses, and keep the work area clean and safe on a production floor.

The role requires interpreting blueprints and production documents, using precision measuring tools, and maintaining tolerance accuracy to ±0.001 inches.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required or substituted by manufacturing experience.
  • Able to interpret blueprints, work orders and production planning documents.
  • Must be able to use standard measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, scales, height/depth gauges).
  • Must work with tight tolerances such as +/- .001".
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deburr metal parts using tools such as power disc sander, rotary files, manual hand files, automatic tumbler machines, hand knives and other deburring tools.
  • Operate and handle punch press and draw press machines of various sizes.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; adhere to safety standards.
  • Assist department in developing techniques to increase productivity, quality, and throughput.

Job Summary:This position will assist in the successful fabrication of Arrowhead Products forming operations. This consists of the Parts Deburr and Press Operator.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Will remove burrs from metal parts by using tools such as power disc sander, rotary files, manual hand files, automatic tumbler machines, hand knives and any other necessary power equipment or deburring tools.Will operate, and knock down various types and sizes of punch press and draw press machines.Will maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly, FOD-free fashion and adhere to all Safety standards.This job description is not all inclusive of all duties. Other job duties consistent with the Form classifications may be assigned.Responsible for assisting the department in the development of techniques to increase productivity, quality, and throughput of products and to share job knowledge in the department..Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent; previous manufacturing experience may be substituted for education requirement.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
