Job summary

Haren Construction Company is seeking skilled form carpenters for outdoor, on-site work in Dawsonville, GA. You will build frameworks, beams, foundations, and structures using wood, metal, or concrete, following supervisor directions.

The role requires proficiency with hand and power tools, precise cutting, and teamwork. Expect outdoor work in varied conditions, with potential overtime opportunities and a strong emphasis on safety protocols.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in a commercial/industrial construction environment.

Responsibilities

• The form carpenters will work on multiple tasks each day and have various skill sets as necessary. They will receive assignments from the supervisor and will need to be able to perform tasks without close supervision.
• Creating framework, beams, foundations, and structures on-site using wood, metal, or concrete.
• Frequently use various hand and power tools with the ability to measure, cut, and shape the materials.
• Work closely with your team to form and pour concrete molds.
• Forming, Pouring, and Finishing concrete structures and walls.
• Ensure the proper safety measures and incident reporting procedures are followed, bringing any problems to the attention of the supervisor.
• Work is performed outside in all types of environmental conditions. This position performs strenuous physical activities for long periods, under varying and adverse field conditions. This position must be able to lift and/or carry up to 75 lbs., stand, walk on uneven surfaces, manually manipulate, grasp, reach out and above the shoulder, climb, kneel, bend, twist, and push/pull. May be required to work at elevated heights.

Overview

Project Title: Flat Creek Water Pollution Control Plant

Location: Dawsonville, Georgia

Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM with overtime opportunities

Pay Range: $28+/hr based on experience
