Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road is seeking a Form Builder/Structures professional in Mesquite, TX. The role involves building and setting forms and supporting line and grade work. You will operate power tools and assist with concrete placement to meet the project specs.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of construction experience, a strong safety mindset, and flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to jobsite safety.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Build forms and set forms on line and grade.
• Operate power tools safely and effectively.
• Assist with concrete placement and finishing.
• Maintain site safety and perform routine clean-up.
• Follow project specifications and instructions.
• Work with various forming tools (bull float, straight edge, screed, hand floats).
• Perform traffic control and erosion control duties as needed.

Austin Bridge & Road is currently seeking Form Builders Structures (Mesquite, TX) We excel at what we do and are looking for talented construction professionals that want to excel with us. The form setter / builder is responsible for building and setting forms.

Responsibilities

• Build forms and plan specifications
• Set forms on line and grade
• Understand proper safe use of power tools
• Know and understand finishing tools such as bull float (mop), straight edge, screed, and hand floats
• Concrete placement and able to finish within the plan specifications
• Able to follow instructions
• Assist with concrete placement
• Assist with concrete finishing
• Traffic control
• Install erosion control devices
• General site clean up
• Follow safety policies and procedures
• Work hours adjusted to meet the project’s needs; days, nights and weekends
• Able to work in adverse weather conditions, hot or cold temperatures
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in construction
• Must have a strong commitment to jobsite safety
• Diligent in demonstrating safe work practices.
