Job summary

Forks High School in Forks, WA is seeking a dedicated Head Baseball Coach to lead the varsity program for the 2027 season. The role requires strong leadership, adherence to WIAA rules, and a commitment to character development.

The coach will work with players, parents and staff to build a competitive program, ensure eligibility, supervise assistants, and promote sportsmanship and positive relations across the school and community.

Qualifications

• Must have or obtain a valid First Aid card.
• Good human relations and interpersonal skills.
• Complete WIAA/WOA Rules Clinic for high school varsity head coach.
• Prior coaching experience required.

• Ensure that facilities and equipment are maintained properly and reports needs to the Athletic Director
• View athletic participation as having a positive impact on students and knows the value of winning as it relates to growth and development of students and the program
• Promote and practice positive sportsmanship
• Work to achieve a positive relationship with all audiences
• Perform other duties and responsibilities consistent with district policies and procedures as required

COACHING POSITION INFORMATION:

• 80 Day Season, February2027to May2027
