Qualifications

• One to two years of forklift operator experience or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-year hostler related experience.
• Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods.
• Operate yard truck safely and responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload materials and merchandise from inbound trailers and load them to assigned outbound trailers.
• Performs required administrative tasks, for inbound unloading and outbound loading.
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
• Inspect forklift to determine the need for repairs and note any defects on pre shift inspection form.
• Move and spot trailers to support warehouse sorting and processing material for shipment.
