Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Facility Technician I at the Bartow, FL facility to perform warehouse duties safely, including forklift operations, loading/unloading trucks, organizing inventory, and preparing waste loads for shipment. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and accurate material scanning.

Shift: 2nd (2pm-10:30pm, Mon-Fri). Pay: $19 per hour plus $1.75 for SD pay. Health benefits after 30 days, 401K with company match, PTO, and training opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1+ years of related experience.
• Fork lift experience preferred (Not Required).
• Ability to use computer.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Load and unload route trucks
• Prepare waste loads for shipment to Recycle Center/Distribution Center
• Manage inventory order and receiving process
• General housekeeping and keeping a clean work area
• Ensure waste is stored in safe and proper manner

The Facility Technician I for our Bartow, FL facility will be responsible for performing all assigned warehouse duties safely and responsibly. This includesForklift experience required. Forklift work- loading and strapping trailers. Organizing inventory (boxes, drums, waste, pallets) in the warehouse. Utilizing drum grabbers, a safe work mentality, and scanning material. Understanding of the following processes and a strong teamwork mentality.
